Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to provide homebound services to middle school students in Anderson, SC. This position is part-time and hourly, with exact hours to be determined. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 22, 2025.
This role involves working directly with one or more homebound middle school students to support their individualized education plans and ensure continued academic progress outside the traditional classroom setting. It requires strong skills in special education program delivery and personalized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
Qualifications:
- South Carolina Educator Certification with a Multi-categorical or Intellectual Disabilities endorsement or specialty
- Experience working with middle school-aged students, preferably in homebound or individualized education settings
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies in a one-on-one or small group format
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with families, school staff, and support personnel
