These roles focus on supporting students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction, collaboration with general education teachers, and development of IEPs that promote academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- 4th and 5th Grades, Resource Room
- Evals, Parent Meetings, IEP development, and classroom management
- Lead classroom activities based on individual student needs
- Deliver direct instruction curriculum in individualized and small group settings
- Implement behavior intervention plans and manage classroom behaviors for effective classroom organization and participation
- Collaborate with related service providers to implement accommodations, modifications, and goal work throughout the week
- Manage classroom Educational Support Professional schedules and direct them in their work with the students
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Illinois PEL with Special Education Certification
- Experience working with school-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
