We are looking for a knowledgeable and goal-oriented Montessori Preschool Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate brings a flexible yet structured approach to the classroom, is passionate about Montessori education, and is committed to guiding young learners in their developmental journey.
Responsibilities:
- Foster independence, curiosity, and critical thinking in young children.
- Plan and implement Montessori teaching methods tailored to children's developmental needs and goals.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment.
- Observe and assess students, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators.
- Model respect for children and work as a team player with colleagues.
Requirements:
✅ MUST have 12 core ECE units as required by Child Care Licensing.
✅ At least 2 years of teaching experience. Montessori preferred but not essential
✅ Experience working with 2 years olds
✅ Proven leadership, organization, and classroom management skills.
✅ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
✅ Background clearance from DOJ/FBI.
✅ Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, DTaP, Flu, and TB test.
✅ Mandated Reporter training (or willingness to obtain).
✅ CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
✅ Must be available for an 8-hour shift between 8 AM - 5 PM.
