Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Employment Type: Full Time Contract for the 2025/2026 School Year
Pay: $4045/hr

Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Arlington Heights, IL to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher. The ideal candidate will hold an active LBS1 certification and have strong experience working with high-needs students in a school-based setting.

Job Requirements:

• Active Illinois LBS1 certification required

• Previous experience with high-needs or self-contained classrooms strongly preferred

• Must be comfortable working full time and onsite

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Job Duties:

• Provide direct instruction and individualized support to students with varying disabilities

• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs and district standards

• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers

• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
