Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a Special Education Teacher for an Elementary School setting in Lancaster, SC. This contract position spans the full school year (CSY) and focuses on delivering tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Utilize specialized teaching strategies to support academic and social growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on assessments and observations.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on student development.

Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education.
• Experience working in elementary special education settings.
• Knowledge of Special Education laws, procedures, and best practices.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
