This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment with manageable caseloads and a strong emphasis on collaboration and professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Provide direct therapy services for students with speech and language disorders.Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress.Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.Educate staff and families on communication strategies and interventions.Serve students across elementary, middle, and high school settings.Milledgeville offers a charming blend of historic architecture, natural beauty, and college-town energy. Required Qualifications
Occupational Therapist, School
References: 1 Reference in entire work historySpeech/Language Pathologist, School
References: 1 Reference in entire work history
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State License is Required to Start the Assignment

Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
