The Medical Surgical & Fundamentals Instructor in Nursing will be responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate nursing students in clinical settings and laboratory environments. This role requires a dedicated professional with a commitment to excellence in teaching and student success. The Faculty member provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment in their chosen field of study by utilizing teaching skills, experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing and effective environment in an effort to actively retain and successfully graduate students from their program of study.

Practical Nurse programming with significant clinical background or prior teaching experience Part time.

The days of the week may vary Monday to Thursday for 8 weeks, with hours 6pm - 10pm from quarter to quarter.

Minimum requirements:.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution. Any Masters or Doctorate additional to the BSN degree may be in a related health field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Licensing as a Registered Nursing in Florida or Compact License.
• Proven experience of 3+ years relevant nursing or other health field teaching experience.
• Must be able to work weekends for clinicals

Academic programs are available on a monthly basis.
