Job Title: Paraprofessional (Instructional Aide)
Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:
We’re seeking a dependable and student-focused Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in a school-based setting. This role plays a hands-on part in helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally by providing classroom assistance and individualized support. The ideal candidate is patient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced educational environment.

Responsibilities:
• Support classroom instruction under the direction of the teacher or special education staff
• Assist individual students or small groups with academic tasks, skill development, and classroom activities
• Provide behavioral, social, and organizational support to help students remain engaged and on task
• Help implement IEP accommodations, behavior plans, and instructional strategies
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities as assigned
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and support staff to meet student needs
• Maintain documentation and follow district policies and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or higher preferred)
• Experience working with children in a school or support setting preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructional plans and take direction from certified staff
• Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism
• Patience and flexibility to work with diverse student populations
