Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support students' educational development as a paraprofessional in a K-12 school setting located in State College, PA. This contract role offers the opportunity to assist teachers and support staff in creating a positive and productive learning environment throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives
• Help prepare instructional materials and organize learning spaces
• Monitor student behavior and provide positive guidance
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and other staff members
• Support inclusion efforts by adapting activities to meet diverse learning needs

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in educational or related settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting student success
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with basic educational and behavioral support techniques
• Relevant certifications or paraprofessional training preferred but not required
