Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Principal Consultant, Business Intelligence – I (multiple positions) in New York, NY responsible for the design, development, testing, optimization, and maintenance of the full range of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions, including the analysis, design, development, and deployment of business intelligence data models, dashboards, reports, and subject areas. Collaborate with the architecture and data analyst team to understand the business requirement and translating them into data models. Prepare and maintain and publish data model diagrams, dictionaries, scripts and metadata files in accordance with project methodology and collaboration guidelines. Implement, test, and maintain logical and physical models for reporting and analytical databases and tune reports, loaders, table design, indexes, and stored procedures to deliver required performance. Facilitate the development of a corporate data policy that outlines the appropriate data stewardship and data audit requirements, as well as the service-level agreements, to support the appropriate quality and use of information in business and IT processes. Design and develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL stored procedures, functions tables, views and ETL packages in support of large management reporting requirements using Oracle Databases. Plan and define data architectural standards for data marts and enterprise data warehousing. Employ new software technologies consistent with support requirements. Create technical programming specifications from business documents, create internal program documentation, and participate in code reviews as both a reviewer and as one being reviewed. Develop and maintain ETL processes that meet project-specific business and technical requirements and those of the overall enterprise data warehouse data integration portfolio. Develop BI reports and dashboards utilizing industry best practices and UI standards. Guide and mentor organization with best practices in report and dashboard design and development. Assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing, and other ETL-related activities. Create automated processes to validate and translate data into our in-house data warehouses. Review requirements and data models and translate into ETL design processes that effectively populate data warehouse and data mart tables. Responsible for Data Warehouse implementation, Oracle Database Management, Performance Optimization and development of RPD, Report, and Dashboards. Employ industry standard tools and technologies, such as the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Suite (OBI Server, Dashboard, Answers, Analytics); Solaris and Linux environments; Windows administration; Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, shell scripting, Qlikview, Informatica Powercenter, SAP Business Objects.
Education – Position requires a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s experience in the job offered or related occupation Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in New York, NY with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with approximately 10% to 20% of travel required. $170,373.00 to $178,892.00 per year.
