Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for traveling to client sites to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of high voltage electrical equipment. This position requires technical expertise in relay testing, switchgear, and high voltage protection to ensure optimal performance and safety of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various client locations to conduct field service activities on high voltage electrical systems.
- Perform relay testing and high voltage electrical testing to ensure equipment functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Inspect and maintain switchgear and other high voltage equipment to prevent downtime and ensure reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for high voltage protection systems.
- Document service activities and report findings to management and clients in a clear and timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to address customer needs and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in high voltage electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of relay testing, switchgear, and high voltage protection equipment.
- Experience with transmission testing and troubleshooting high voltage electrical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively for work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
