About the Role:
The Field Change and Communications Manager is responsible for working alongside our Revenue Operations leader and our Enablement Business Partners&nbsp;to develop and deliver effective content that drives awareness and action aligned to Go To Market priorities and organizational goals. .&nbsp; This role will consist of working with sales, technical, marketing, product, and other business units to provide communications strategy, with an eye to organizational and skill change management, to deliver regular communications vehicles and tools to achieve organizational Go To Market goals. &nbsp;
What You’ll Do:
<ul>
<li>
Partner with Revenue&nbsp; Enablement and all go to market teams to develop and design communications aligned to our strategic&nbsp; GTM movements.

Bring a change management mindset to understand desired outcome, and variance of skills or knowledge required to achieve that outcome
</li>
<li>
Build and influence our cross-functional communications&nbsp; strategy across multiple pillars of the business and GTM teams to drive alignment to GTM priorities.
</li>
<li>
Design and create professional, engaging, and informative communications vehicles including weekly newsletter, organization of Highspot content, and sales and technical webinar programs to drive awareness and action&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Be a knowledgeable and strong partner with PMM and Marketing to ensure content is created to meet the needs of sales
</li>
<li>
Understand organizational skill requirements, sales methodology and operational process to strongly influence SMES to curate and package content to reinforce GTM motions
</li>
<li>
Utilize creative skills to design visually appealing presentations, infographics, newsletters, and other enablement materials while maintaining brand consistency.
</li>
<li>
Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, animations, and graphics to increase engagement and learning retention, while enhancing the learning experience.
</li>
<li>
Help to audit our content hub in Highspot to ensure consistency and alignment to sales process and GTM lifecycle - throughout the customer buying journey
</li>
<li>
Measure, track, and report effectiveness of content and evolve as needed in collaboration with Content Lead.
</li>
<li>
Manage and organize content within the CMS to ensure materials are up to date.
</li>
</ul>
What You’ll Need:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>
4+ years SaaS sales experience
</li>
<li>
3+ years in progressive developing Content Design, Change Management and/or Communications roles
</li>
<li>
Understanding of sales process, customer lifecycles, and various qualifications (MEDDPICC) and sales methodologies (Experience in direct sales or enablement content creation)
</li>
<li>
Experience with PROSCI or relevant Change Management methodologies
</li>
<li>
Experience with employee communications - preferably in an internal, GTM role.&nbsp;
</li>
<li>
Proven experience in content design and creation (presentations, internal supporting assets, training plans, etc.) in a sales enablement or training role.
</li>
<li>
graphic design tools and presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint, etc.) video editing (Camtasia).
</li>
<li>
Experience with L&amp;D and content management software (Litmos, Highspot,&nbsp; Articulate Rise 360, Seismic, Allego, etc.) and manage content lifecycle through tooling.
</li>
<li>
A willingness to stay up to date with emerging technologies in the L&amp;D and Content management space and sales and customer lifecycle trends.
</li>
<li>
Ability to collaborate and influence cross functional teams and business units, including but not limited to Field Enablement, Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering and Sales Leaders.
</li>
<li>
Program and project management skills, an ability to work independently and manage multiple projects independently while maintaining target dates and deliverables.
</li>
<li>
Highly organized, accurate, detail oriented, and proactive.
</li>
<li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts, craft persuasive messaging and copy.
</li>
<li>
Ability to leverage available tooling to measure effectiveness and impact of content, and adapt accordingly.

Go-To Market, Field Change and Communications Manager (Remote)

The Vice President of Policy Research and Advocacy position is a part of CSS’s Leadership Team. This role will lead a strong team of six to eight policy analysts who are spearheading progressive change to address economic, racial, and social inequality and spur upward mobility for low-income New Yorkers. Working with the President and Executive Vice President, the Vice President will develop and lead policy research initiatives and drive advocacy for policies that make New York City more equitable, represent CSS in public meetings with elected officials and strategic partners to advance policy initiatives, engage press, provide feedback and guidance to policy staff on critical reports and research,&nbsp; engage in policy campaigns, maintain relationships with funders and update them on CSS’ progress, and&nbsp; manage other aspects of the policy department.&nbsp;

Job Responsibilities:

<ul>
<li>Manages policy department including departmental budget; hiring, supervising, and evaluating staff; setting departmental goals and monitoring and reporting on accomplishments.</li>
<li>Directs the major research activities of the policy department, including the annual Unheard Third survey. Conceptualizes and carries out research individually while guiding and supporting the research of department staff.</li>
<li>Works with the President of CSS and Executive Vice President, as well as independently with departmental staff to identify and develop policy agenda.</li>
<li>Reporting to the Board of Trustees on status of key policy initiatives.</li>
<li>Apply for new grants and update funders and program officers on current grants, in consultation with the Development Department.</li>
<li>In consultation with the Vice President of Governmental &amp; Public Affairs, represents CSS in public meetings with elected representatives, lobbying public officials, building coalitions with key partners to promote CSS positions on legislative and policy issues, responding to media inquiries and developing cohesive media strategies.</li>
<li>Writes reports, policy briefs, op-eds and reviews, and edits similar written work produced by department staff. In collaboration with the Vice President of Communications and Marketing, provides guidance policy brief design and social media distribution.</li>
<li>Engages with policy and advocacy partners and coalitions across all areas of the Department’s work.</li>
</ul>
 

Job Qualifications:

<ul>
<li>Ph.D. or master’s degree in public policy, urban planning, economics or related field required and minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience</li>
<li>Familiar with a broad range of policy and community development issues in New York City and New York State, with knowledge of related social policy issues</li>
<li>Extensive research experience displaying strong qualitative, quantitative, and research methodology</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, written and oral communications skills required</li>
<li>Excellent judgment; attention to detail and the ability to provide critical guidance and feedback to research staff</li>
<li>Creative problem-solver; strategic thinker; takes initiative</li>
<li>Ability to engage effectively with CSS’ constituency policy makers and advocates</li>
</ul>

Salary and Benefits: The annual salary for this position is $165,000 to $195,000.
